Not for the whole

I cherish my early morning communion with Jesus, I find light, hope, peace and joy as I open my journal and my heart, asking what He would like to share:

I Am not looking for perfection
No, I tell you I delight in your need
For just as I told My early critics
I came not for the healthy but for the sick
I came not for the whole but the broken
I came to heal your wounds
to fill your emptiness
to restore your sight
and give you freedom

Let Me be your strength
Let Me be your joy
Let Me be your everything.

For this I came
For this I died
For this I rose again

walking with Emily and the imperfect but loved

Love those early morning hours before the hustle and bustle begin, like a clean sheet of paper waiting for a new story.

Thank you for sharing your heart with IP:) Praise God that He loves us- broken, bound, tattered, and all:) Thanks for stopping by!

I like the turn here that we should be God's joy. Excellent thoughts.

And I wonder if you realise how lucky you are having this comfort of belief. The gift of faith is not given to everyone...and it is a gift. It obviously brings you great comfort and peace.

Oh, how often I forget that He came to heal ME, not me here to heal the world. He's the one with the Master touch, and we're to receive it. Beautiful.

Thanks for this message which I know I should already know, but somehow need to be told anyway!

Reassuring words, truly spoken, are always welcome.

I can not tell you how much your poetic voice speaks to me. He is all over it.
