Season of seasons

This is/has been a season of seasons
moving too fast
while stuck in place

also a season of seasoning
being softened and hardened
by His hand
stirred and blended wth spices
that leave the scent of His presence

leaves tremble, fall
scatter in the wind
the aroma of decay mixes
with the fragrance of hope
for surely Spring will come
at Winter's end
and sooner
than we now imagine

to everything, a season of its own.

There's an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth  Ecclesiastes 3:1 The Message

Beautiful...
I loved how you mixed the two meanings of season.
And life is made of seasons, indeed. We know that, no matter if it is good or bad, it will end and another one will begin.

Very nice... All things are in His hands, and it does go by so fast. This one will make you think...

I love the contrasts.

Moving too fast while stuck in place.
Softened and hardened.
Decay and hope.

And the spices and scent and aroma and fragrance.

Oh, and that photo. Clever girl.

Time goes on and change is inevitable both in earthly seasons, our physical bodies and in our spirits.

Difficult as it sometimes is, we can relax in knowing that God loves us and is with us no matter what we are experiencing. His season though it change, is good for today.
