Even in pain...

Words from the Lord as dawn was breaking:

Even pain is temporary, little one.
For one day I have promised to dry every tear.
For now, simply know that when things seem the darkest,
I Am not far from you.
You can run to Me by simply speaking My name.

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.
God Himself will be with them and be their God.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

He reigns

Top of Murchison Falls, Uganda, Africa
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude,
like the roar of rushing waters
and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:

“Hallelujah!

For our Lord God Almighty reigns

Giving him glory at Deidra's today as we unite our praises

Seasons will change

The other morning as I wrapped a blanket around my shoulders to chase away the chill of the early morning air, I asked the Lord what He wished to share.  I believe His words are for me, but not for me alone.  If the following sparks something in your spirit, take it as your own.

It is not quite time for the seasons to change, this is simply a reminder that they will, a sign of the time that is coming.

I always give you warnings before changes are upon you, but not all have eys to see or ears to hear, and yes, even those who do see often choose not to look.  Have I not said in My Word that I do nothing without first telling my prophets?

Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 NKJV

So while the seasons are not yet turning, they will turn.

But, little one, what will be a time of dormancy for the land shall not be a time of dormancy for My people but instead a season of accelerated growth.

Even covered, like the ground, in thick blankets of snow, and hidden - hearts will be expanded, faith will be renewed and fresh wisdom and revelation will be released.

It will not be a time to sleep, no, for I say there will be much to feast on in the coming days.

The door into My Father's heart shall be open unto you.  Those who sleep will indeed miss this very special time.

The days may grow short, but you will see by My light.

Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent

The publishers description of Heaven is for Real A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back by Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent reads:
A young boy emerges from life-saving surgery with remarkable stories of his visit to heaven.
Heaven Is for Real is the true story of the four-year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and enters heaven. He survives and begins talking about being able to look down and see the doctor operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family didn't know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear.

Told by the father, but often in Colton's own words, the disarmingly simple message is heaven is a real place, Jesus really loves children, and be ready, there is a coming last battle.
I should not have been surprised at just how compelling I found this book. From the first page to the last, I was touched by the depth of the revelations revealed. The God we serve can indeed speak profound truths, even through a child as young as Colton.

It was exciting to watch how Todd and his wife reacted to and absorbed what Colton was telling them, and how they processed the view of heaven that indeed lines up with God’s Word. If you have ever wondered what heaven is like, you don’t want to miss reading Colton’s story.
