a touch

a whisper

a new combination of tastes

this morning I used overly soft watermelon

a bright lemon

my blender

and water

to create a drink

that will refresh

as the heat descends

 

To be brave

 

How brave the bud

stretching to open

no longer to hide

all the beauty within

something started

there is a stirring

deep

and spreading

yes something will be born

or take flight

 

An offering of time

This has been a week of pondering

harvesting wounds

like this wire of barbs

almost hidden in the bush

old yet ever able to cut

let the light shine

 

yes to the next
