I have taken a journey this month
spent thirty-one days
diving into the pool of
open hands
open heart
surrender
barely breaking the tension
of the surface
of water much deeper
than first imagined
I still find myself gasping
for air, even knowing
He Is my breath
sink or swim
He teaches me
that all things
even letting go
are possible
through Him
in Him
surrender never ends
