What is man?

What is man that You are mindful of him,
and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him?
Yet You have made him but a little lower than God [or heavenly beings],
and You have crowned him with glory and honor.
You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet:
 All sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field,
The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea,
and whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
O Lord, our Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious)
is Your name in all the earth!

Very cool photo! A couple of weeks ago, I drove from Lincoln to Kansas City and saw hundreds of pelicans on their migration to wherever it is that pelicans go. I'd never seen anything like that before. It was incredible!

What a treat to see that photo and fit it into the scripture... which, of course, is a real gift of yours. Never know what I'll see, but know it will be grabbing my attention.
