Playing baseball with Jesus

My friend Jason, who pastors, exhorts and encourages at his blog Connecting to Impact is taking a much deserved holiday with his family.  While he is away soaking in sun, sand and sea, some of us are helping out with guest posts.  Today I'm there talking about God and me and baseball.

I grew up in the Chicago metropolitan area, north side, far north side. That, friends, would make me a Chicago Cubs fan. It also might explain part of my learned pessimistic anxiety. When you ride with the Cubs you hope for the best while expecting the worst; that way, you’re never disappointed....
