Winter glory

The hoarfrost of morning is only a digitally trapped memory and the afternoon sky screams blue in the shine of the sun.

Woodpeckers find the food we provide during these harsh months.

A blue jay finds bare braches a place for rest, his belly full of dog food stolen from Faith's dish, his feathers fluffed, trapping warmth.

My heart rejoices at the visible display of the glory of the One Who created all things for His pleasure while we are blessed to benefit from the beauty.

And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely.  Genesis 1:31a Amplified

I'm just smiling so big after reading this, Karin. Thank you. It's so great to ponder and meditate on all God's great works--makes me stand in awe again!
