life blooms

Wilderness and desert will sing joyously,
the badlands will celebrate and flower—
Like the crocus in spring, bursting into blossom,
a symphony of song and color.

when all seems frozen
sleeping, near death
it is in the secret
quiet place
that something fresh
waits to burst forth

I LOVED this photo, Word section. You gave me lots of ideas for my photos connected to some of the Words. Thanks much, Karin.

Even in the harshest of circumstances, God is bringing forth something of great beauty and creativity. It's always awesome to appreciate His hand at work when our sight seems to be growing dim.

Yes, dear friend, our Lord is the source of all life and the desert poses no problems to Him to create the most beautiful garden.

Hi HFF! I love the image of all stillness and seeming like death. But new things come out of that quiet. I will remember this lesson today...we're expecting another batch of snow. Erg.

Nice to see you again :)

I think the picture tells it all. The beauty in waiting for something to happen, then being rewarded for patient.
