Priceless

It cannot be wrapped
this gift
beyond price

best served fresh
with no invoice
or strings

stronger than steel
intricate and fragile
as spider lace

both vast
and intimate
enfolding and releasing

treasure most precious
whether given
or recieved

freedom, mercy, peace
braided
God breathed

Spirit sealed
holy offering
forgiving and forgiven

Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.  Luke 6:37-38 NLT

forgiveness and forgiving is a treasure worth selling all you own over...there is freedom found within...

What an incredible metaphor! If I were to have thought of a web being a metaphor, it would be related to "oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive."

You've definitely redeemed the web as a gift from the Creator. Very nice, Karin!

(I keep telling myself that I'm going to participate in the random acts of poetry. When there are enough minutes in the day, I DO plan to make a visit there!)

Money cannot purchase the treasure that God has for us! His love, joy peace, forgiveness has already been paid for and it is ours for the asking. Loved your poem !!
