These last days, weeks, months have been a journey into deeper places. I am battle worn and tired, and yes, a bit shell shocked. I am raw and broken and uncertain of almost all but the love of my God.
This morning, in our quiet time, He shared His prescription:
Rest. I Am big enough to hold you. You need not understand. Be still and know, little one, that I Am always Is.
Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. Psalm 46:10a Amplified
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;he's the one who will keep you on track.
Prov 3:5-6 The Message
And if all would forsake you, yet I Am.
And if the skies dawn black or red as blood, yet I Am.
Just as I attempted to tell my disciples there are things that must come, be aware but fret not. They did not want to hear or think or accept My coming death -- but was it not for greater good? For the salvation of the world?
So too is there a greater plan in all that lies ahead.
Remain in Me, as I in you.
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. John 15:4 NIV
Rest. Listen for My lullabye.

He speaks so that we are aware and can believe or plead for mercy or however the Spirit instructs, not for fear and despair. Wonderful reminder today, Karin. Thank you.
May God bless you and give you peace and strength....there will be a rainbow after the rain....thank you for sharing your heart with us. :-)
Listening for the lullaby--beautiful!

I liked Proverbs 3:5-6 in the message version. I was thinking on trust today as well.
"Rest. I am big enough to hold you. you need not understand, Be still and know, little one, that I Am always is." Thanks for sharing. I was struggling today with understanding and trying to figure things out.
It is nice to remember that he's the one that will keep us on track.
May you have a blessed week.
You need not understand.
Words that comfort and terrify me in the same breath.
Heartfelt and thoughtful, loved the scripture you quoted. This is the third time this week--since Sunday morning-- that verse from John 15 is coming my way. Blessings to you as His plan unfolds in your life.
This was so lovely. Thank you! I've been meditating on Psalm 139 this week, too. I was thankful for the way your post touched me.
Thank you for this reminder! Almost every day during this season in my life I am putting a lot of energy into processing major life decisions. Your meditation here is an important reminder of what's really what! :)
Amen. MAy you indeed find rest in HIM who is able to give it.
This is so lovely, Karin. And my tired self feels a bit renewed by this reassurance. I must say that your little poem you left in my comment box made me smile. Yes...if I fall, He will catch. You are two for two with me today, friend! Thank you!

Oh, my sweet friend, I just read this today and you have NO IDEA how much I needed it, what a blessing it is. THANK YOU.
Love you,
Shelby
May you abide in His love, be ministered to by His peace and be wrapped in the comfort of His arms.
ll the Scripture - it speaks - I hope it continues to speak to you.
and your ending - listening for a lullaby...reminds me of this..
Sing me a lullaby,
sing me to sleep tonight.
Sing me a tender lullaby cause all my heart can do is cry.
Help me compose my soul,
quietly take control
sing me a lullaby
and tell me I’m your child.
God bless and Keep you.
