fragile perspective

the road stretches forward
under cover of intruding night
the place I left behind
soon to be another's
destination
where I journey on
they have already been

a shifting
dance of directions
dark upon light
perspective fragile
as thin bright clouds
this wanderer
always seeking
home

hanging out at the pub tonight

Interesting, how perspective makes all the difference. We're all in different parts of our journey. Cheers.

always seeking home...and will we find it...maybe one day that desire will be sated...

Interesting to think about the place one person leaves is another's destination. But that, it seems, is how the world goes and as it should. Some place is home for everyone.

We journey in the hope of finding 'home.' I wonder how many of us truly ever do? Great write.

most journeys are taken in the attempt at finding home, whether one we have always known, or one we have yet to find.

So true, I think deep inside we are always seeking our "home" ~

We think of home as a physical place, but isn't home within all of us..or are we unable to be satisfied with that answer...just asking??

I hadn't thought of the journey in such a unique way. I love this. And yes - home looks so inviting.
