Narrow path

There are two paths before you;
you may take only one path.
One doorway is narrow. And one door is wide.
Go through the narrow door.
For the wide door leads to a wide path,
and the wide path is broad;
the wide, broad path is easy,
and the wide, broad, easy path has many, many people on it;
but the wide, broad, easy, crowded path leads to death.
Now then that narrow door leads to a narrow road
that in turn leads to life.
It is hard to find that road.
Not many people manage it.

These can be frightening words - outside of love and grace and faith as we walk that path with the Lord. Pleasant photo, looks like an inviting walk.

In our present-day world it is hard sometimes to recognize the difference of the paths. In the past, it was obvious. Now, so much has been laid out as a "loving" approach and accepting and, if we're too picky, we can be considered harsh and hard and mean. AND, yet, the Lord said "narrow" and we must be watching and aware and not just wandering and wondering.

Thanks, Karin. Made me think hard again.

Like the photo, of course.
