These are the days when one is never certain of how the weather might change. Fleeting moments of brilliant sun warms the bones and then the clouds gather, the temperatures drop and drops of rain turn into snow, again.
It is the time for beginning the yard work of Spring, yet still a time for curling up to read wrapped up in warm throws after the sun goes down.
My thoughts seem as uncertain and unpredictable as the weather, flitting about not knowing quite where to alight. I'm having trouble with focus and concentration. I am comforted in the knowledge that I am not to trust my thoughts, but to rely on my Lord.
"Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 Amplified
Yes, Lord God, I will put my hope and trust in You. I will come into Your presence and find my rest. I will wait upon You and follow Your directions. Here am I, I am Yours.
