Surrounded

You hold my every moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
and heal all my disease

I trust in You
I trust in You
I believe You're my healer
I believe You are all I need
I believe You're my portion
I believe You're more than enough for me
Jesus, You're all I need

I was able to bring music with me for my treatment Thursday.
This song and more surrounded me in the gamma knife radiation machine
as I sought a still place in His presence.

Clutter to praise

Clutter is the word we're looking at for this week's Faith Jam.

I'm breathing deep, seeking clean, almost empty.
Trying to be clear of the voices in my head that whisper, snicker, shout,
never speaking truth

Now I can cast out the clutter of thoughts about the gamma knife radiation treatment I just went through this week.  With it behind me there is space for new things, positive things, His things!

The clutter of white noise, tinnitus that roars in my head will not go away, all the treatment can do is perhaps prevent things from getting worse.  I'd like to believe that I'll find a way to transform the noise into a type of worship.  From clutter to praise, for His glory.
