Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for the truth. Benjamin Disraeli
When Jesus introduced Himself to me in the autumn of 1999 He proved true to the promise in His Word and replaced my concrete heart with one that bleeds.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26 NIV
My life with this new heart has been not merely sprinkled but splattered with emotion; drenched with tears, but also with laughter; filled to overflowing with both sorrow and unspeakable joy.
Once I allowed the Lord to shatter the walls I had build to protect myself I began to walk with my insides out. There are great risks that come with this kind of exposure, but today I am unwrapping the gift of true communion this allows.
