I just took this closeup photo of the glorious colour and detail of a portulaca in our flower bed. I am breathless and awestruck again and again when I catch a glimpse of what our God has created. The beauty that surrounds us cries out His majesty. Yet even as I celebrate what I can see, how much more will we celebrate the glory yet to come?
"For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!" 2 Corinthians 3:10-11
