one of many
sharing the morning 
sun and stillness
but interrupting
with his call

new symphonies 
rehearsed at dawn
noon, nightfall
each unique, orchestra
members welcomed
how, without auditions
can there be such eerie unison?

Who formed each feather
and selects each song
