incense offering

A piece of incense may be as large as the knee,
but unless burned emits no fragrance.
Malawian proverb

in the silent place
of abiding
I offer myself for the burning
may I be a pleasing sacrifice
to my Lord

Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance.
Because of Christ, we give off a sweet scent rising to God,
which is recognized by those on the way of salvation
an aroma redolent with life.

As we travel on the road our Lord has placed before us, it's nice to meet a friend along the way. Thank you for stopping to leave a few or many words, I'm always interested to read your thoughts.
