True prayer

True prayer is measured by weight,
not by length.
A single groan before God
may have more fullness of prayer in it
than a fine oration of great length.
C. H. Spurgeon

  3. This is comforting. A good reminder, it is not a formula of words, but the heart cry that He hears. Thank you!

  4. Joyce Meyers tolks and writes about this---how our prayers do not have to be long and flowery. My prayer life got much better after I realized that often, even in prayer, simplicity is best.

  7. So true. And I'm so grateful that He listens to me when I have a single, solid groan.

As we travel on the road our Lord has placed before us, it's nice to meet a friend along the way. Thank you for stopping to leave a few or many words, I'm always interested to read your thoughts.
blessings and love,
in His service,
