Morning breaks

Dawn arrives quickly now
not slow and gentle
as winter hush

morning light
no longer creeps quiet
but explodes
cracking wide open
possibilities
that await
this side
of the new day

  5. Lovely poem. It voices the thoughts that have been going through my head this time of year that I just haven't found the words to write. Thank you for sharing this. Feels like the Spring answer to a piece I wrote last Fall called 'Daylight Savings Time.' Very nice indeed!

As we travel on the road our Lord has placed before us, it's nice to meet a friend along the way. Thank you for stopping to leave a few or many words, I'm always interested to read your thoughts.
