Fire exchange

I want
to want nothing more
than to step
closer to the fire
that any ice
around my heart
would turn to tears.

All that I am
for all that He Is
an offer extended
through His mercy alone.

Exquisite grace
trades ashes for joy.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire.
