Tuesdays Unwrapped - Giving

Brightly coloured papers, ribbons, bows,
stickers and tags written with love.
The boxes pile up beneath the tree.
I imagine the smiles, the sparkling eyes,
the delight tasted by those who will receive
these presents selected with prayer.

Today I am unwrapping
the wonderous joy
of giving.

It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35b
