Heading out for a drive

Most upper/middle class buildings are behind gated and guarded walls. The gates to our guest house were locked except when we were coming or going.

Even though the red clay dirt seemed to cling to our clothes and our skin, the streets were actually quite clean. At times you could see people outside their shops sweeping the dirt.

Food markets sold whatever was in season. They were always busy, always crowded and always colourful. It was lucky if you liked bananas as they were everywhere in abundance.
Typical storefronts in a poorer area at the corner where we would turn onto the road to Watoto's Bbira Children's Village.

As we travel on the road our Lord has placed before us, it's nice to meet a friend along the way. Thank you for stopping to leave a few or many words, I'm always interested to read your thoughts.
blessings and love,
in His service,
in the fire,
