In the midst of town, the constant noise -- honking, mowing, roofing, etc. -- goes on and on. One of the main reasons I love being on the North Shore of Lake Superior, which will happen the end of this month for two days, is laying in bed and hearing the waves, hearing the birds, is a real heart-loving time. IF it is totally quiet, that's good, too, but my husband and I are "wave"oriented with sight and sound.

Bless your day, Karin, for your good sharing piece [as usual, of course].caryjohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01488368153291827383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5952217323580442767.post-52186951132686641522013-09-21T12:14:49.595-05:002013-09-21T12:14:49.595-05:00What would music be without the silent rest notes?...What would music be without the silent rest notes? Love this quote. Funny, Patricia's friend who told her children their ears needed rest - I'll have to use that line, too! Your post makes me think of that great...Dear Denise
Your post makes me think of that great song of Simon & Garfunkel; Sound Of Silence. What a song! We have a Garden filled with trees and live about 200 meters from the sea. So I delight myself daily, especially when I am bed bound by Fm/CFS at the moment, with the doves singing to me and the sea being a symphony from Heaven!
Blessings XX
MiaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02765891733244054084noreply@blogger.com
