Matching rhythm

We all have a rhythm we’re used to—
a tempo that goes beyond the kind of music we listen to.
God gave each of us an internal rhythm.
Put your hand over your heart,
a hand over your wrist
or two fingers on the side of your neck,
and you’ll discover you have your own internal click—
a personal metronome
that God thoughtfully put inside each of us.

  3. Well, Karin, you'd got me "hmmm?-ing" now as I pour your sharing, thinking through my mind. That is a "good thing"... not taking things just for granted.

  5. Me too, Karin. Me too! (and I love the thought of the heartbeat being a personal metronome. Perfect!

And that word, "rhythm?" It's still on the scrabble holder on the army footlocker turned coffee table in our living room. I love how God has connected us. :)

  7. I watched an amazing video this week of a new video camera that picks up the slightest subtleties in motion. It filmed a baby and you could the pulsating blood just under the skin. It was beautiful -- almost melodic.

As we travel on the road our Lord has placed before us, it's nice to meet a friend along the way. Thank you for stopping to leave a few or many words, I'm always interested to read your thoughts.
blessings and love,
in His service,
