Seeking balance



Away from the fields
that surround my daily dreams
I breathe to a rhythm
unfamiliar
yet still ordered by my Lord

I do His bidding
move as His feet
and hands
pray for His words
to trip my tongue

It is both dark
and light
here
as I seek a balance
I've not yet found

    just keep on looking to Jesus.

    I feel this one. I'm feeling pretty unbalanced myself right now, with my feet here in Iowa -- and a big part of my heart somewhere in Haiti.

As we travel on the road our Lord has placed before us, it's nice to meet a friend along the way. Thank you for stopping to leave a few or many words, I'm always interested to read your thoughts.
